Now you move beyond flat pieces into dimensional work. Over twelve full‑day sessions, you learn interior construction methods, lining installation, gusset integration and multi‑layer assembly. You start with an envelope clutch built around a three‑sided gusset. Next you construct a card wallet with a zip pocket, learning to align pockets and install closures. Finally, you build a clutch with a two‑sided gusset, flat pocket, magnetic closure, batting and shaping . Mistakes in assembly order create irreversible problems; here you learn why sequence matters and how to control it.
What You Learn:
Interior construction; lining installation (when to stitch vs. glue); integration of gussets for three-dimensional form; pocket placement and secure attachment; multi‑layer assembly without bulk; pattern reading and modification; edge work for complex curves; hardware placement for structural integrity.
Your progression:
• Level 1 is flat work; Level 2 is dimensional. You move from simple cases to clutches, zipped wallets and small bags.
